On December 14, 2025, Giorgi Pantsulaia was elected to the Executive Council of the Georgian Bar Association by decision of the Association’s General Assembly. Since 2018, he has been the Founder and Director of the law firm “Giorgi Pantsulaia & Partners.” The firm specializes in criminal, civil, administrative, business, and constitutional law, and also represents clients before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Mr. Pantsulaia has 13 years of successful legal practice, with a primary focus on criminal law. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a number of particularly complex and high-profile cases, including the investigation into the death of Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania; the so-called “Cyanide Case” involving Archpriest G.M.; matters related to Iberia TV and Omega Group; the Caucasus Auto Import case; the defense of individuals detained following the special operation at Bassiani nightclub; proceedings related to the Namakhvani protests; as well as other cases of significant public interest. He also provides legal services to foreign investors, including prominent European companies such as Santander Consumer Bank AG, EOS Investment GmbH, AVS Group, and others. In his professional work, he places particular emphasis on integrity, adherence to high ethical standards, and the consistent and diligent protection of his clients’ interests. Since 2018, he has served as a mentor lawyer with the Georgian Bar Association. In 2016, he passed the Georgian Bar Association’s Juvenile Justice examination. From 2014 to 2015, he was an invited trainer in parliamentary debate at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Between 2010 and 2014, he was involved in various significant projects at the Tbilisi office of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association. In 2010, he successfully passed the qualification examination for employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia. Mr. Pantsulaia earned his Master of Laws degree with distinction from Akaki Tsereteli State University. He had previously graduated with honors from the same university with a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
